Documentos Arquivísticos Digitais (DAD): uma análise da realidade das Secretarias de Estado do Amazonas

Abstract

Technological advancements have provided new ways of working and connecting, creating challenges for archival professionals, particularly regarding the characterization and specificities of digital archival records. This research aimed to analyze how the management of digital archival records is being carried out across the twenty-one state secretariats of Amazonas, focusing on public policies, records management, and digital transformation. The methodology adopts a qualitative approach with an exploratory and descriptive nature, utilizing document analysis, content analysis, literature review, and the administration of questionnaires as a crucial step toward understanding the reality of digital archival records. The structure of the study encompasses the survey and analysis of public and archival policies to understand the development of records management aligned with digital transformation and current legislation; this theoretical foundation enabled an in-depth study to grasp the nuances of the subject. Data collection achieved a participation rate of 90.48% (19 out of the 21 secretariats), clarifying the current scenario and enabling the formulation of more effective guidelines for digital archival records management within these institutions. Finally, the study concludes that, despite the adoption of digital technologies relevant to administrative routines, digital archival records remain merely an integrated part of a broader technological adoption process, lacking proper consideration for their specificities within the digital environment and daily secretariat operations.
