Resumo

This report presents the activities developed during the Mandatory Supervised Internship, whose main objective was to provide hands-on experience with the production routines of the Experimental Farm of the Federal University of Amazonas. The internship sought to integrate the theoretical knowledge acquired throughout the undergraduate program with practical management activities, strengthening technical skills and deepening the understanding of procedures used across different production systems. The internship comprised a total of 300 hours, carried out from September 23 to November 22, and involved activities in several sectors of the farm, including swine, buffalo, sheep, poultry, and wild animals, specifically collared peccaries (Pecari tajacu), as well as the aquaculture station. The routine tasks included feeding and health management practices; reproductive management procedures such as pregnancy diagnosis; slaughter activities in the peccary production unit; pasture management with field fertilization; silage production; and participation in teaching-related activities. Together, these experiences offered a broad understanding of a diversified production system and contributed to the development of essential competencies for professional practice. Thus, the internship effectively bridged theoretical learning and practical application, promoting both personal and professional growth for the student.
