Inteligência artificial generativa e software livre na concepção de imagens de Arquitetura na Amazônia

Resumo

This study examines the use of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GAI) as a tool for the conception of architectural design studies in the Amazon, a region that presents unique challenges due to environmental, cultural, and climatic factors. In response to the growing demand for sustainable practices and architectural solutions adapted to the local context, the research investigates how GAI technologies can be applied to the early conceptual design phase of projects, aiming to optimize design processes and enhance architectural models. The study is grounded in architectural works in the Amazon that have been critically recognized for their dialogue between the universal and the regional. It employs GAI tools such as Stable Diffusion and MidJourney to create models and realistic simulations. These simulations enable the analysis of environmental impact and climatic conditions, promoting a more informed and conscious approach prior to the beginning of physical construction. The research proposes specific guidelines for the application of Generative Artificial Intelligence in Architecture in the Amazon, with the objective of guiding architects and students in the creation of innovative and culturally relevant projects that respect local identity. Through the results obtained, it was possible to highlight the importance of the relationship between Modern Architecture in the Amazon and the potential use of GAI tools for the development of images that address architectural needs while remaining aligned with local culture and the professional practice of architects and students in the field.
