ECAM: um estudo sobre a complexidade da percepção na construção da imagem institucional do Exército Brasileiro na Amazônia Ocidental

Resumo

This dissertation presents incipient discussions and the results of a case study aimed at demonstrating how the Military Affairs Correspondent Internship (ECAM) influences the perception of the event's participants and, consequently, the construction of their image of the Brazilian Army in the Western Amazon. To do this, it was necessary to follow the following path: 1) identify the communication ecosystem present in the Internship, 2) map the presence of the principles of Complex Thinking and the Systemic Matrix as a framework for understanding ECAM, and 3) analyze the questionnaires answered by the university students at the end of the Internship, applying the Content Analysis method. Theoretical approaches to organizational culture and communication, Image Configuration Method (MCI), Deep Ecology, Actor-Network Theory (TAR), and autopoiesis, among others, were also essential subsidies for this study. As a result, a demonstrative map of the Internship ecosystem was proposed, and a quantitative picture of the main perceptions that university students expressed in the process of building the image of the Brazilian Army during their participation in ECAM.
