O ensino dos jogos de mira com elementos da natureza no ensino fundamental – anos iniciais: novas práticas, outras experiências, várias possibilidades

Abstract

In recent history, Physical Education teaching in the municipality of Lábrea, Amazonas, has largely focused on teaching sports practices, aiming to introduce students to the world of sports. Thus, recognizing this problem and seeking a Physical Education program that aims to provide students with the opportunity to experience new physical practices, the desire arose to plan a proposed teaching sequence on aiming games, emphasizing the teaching of archery, its possible origins and transformations, and the different ways in which it can be experienced. Therefore, we present the research problem "How to teach aiming games to 5th grade students using alternative materials?" To this end, we outlined an investigative path based on the general objective: To investigate the process of teaching aiming games to 5th grade students using alternative materials. The specific objectives were: a) To identify the processes for systematizing the planning of a thematic unit focused on aiming games, focusing on the use of alternative materials; b) Analyze the teaching processes of a thematic unit focused on aiming games, focusing on the use of alternative materials; c) Develop an educational resource related to the teaching of aiming games, focusing on the use of alternative materials. The methodology adopted was qualitative, using teaching experiment techniques (modeling, teaching episodes, and interviews). Data collection included classroom observations through student productions, discussion circles, and questionnaires. Observations were recorded in a field diary to produce and analyze the data. The research was conducted in the municipality of Lábrea, Amazonas, with a 5th-grade class. Through applied lessons, the research sought to provide students with the opportunity to experience new things, perceive themselves as individuals who acquire knowledge through a cultural dimension, and have the opportunity to identify with the game. As public school teachers, we understand the daily challenges teachers face. Therefore, in this study, we developed and implemented a teaching unit involving "Aiming Games," focusing on the early grades of elementary school. This work aims to offer teachers the opportunity to envision and reflect on a pedagogical practice that aims to contribute to the critical development of students.
