This dissertation, developed within the scope of the Professional Master's Degree in Arts (PROFARTES) at the Federal University of Amazonas, in the research line Teaching, learning and creation processes in Arts, investigates artisanal bioanimation as a creative and decolonial practice in the context of Art education in a public school in Manaus (Amazonas, Brazil). The research, grounded in a qualitative approach and action research methodology, was conducted with 3rd-year high school students, integrating stop motion technique with organic materials (leaves, seeds, clay) and everyday objects, aiming to investigate how artisanal bioanimation articulates with creativity, cultural awareness, the appreciation of traditional Amazonian knowledge, and student protagonism. Data collection instruments included a field diary, questionnaires, audiovisual records, and conversation circles, analyzed according to Bardin's content analysis framework. The results indicate that the pedagogical games developed — Amazonian Legends Game and Bioanimation Game — activated students' cultural repertoire, facilitated narrative construction, and favored student protagonism, understood not merely as an effect of the activity but as a principle that guided the entire creative process. The study also revealed a contradiction between the imaginary of the forest and the urban reality of young people, leading to the resignification of everyday objects as equally powerful supports for artistic creation. As an educational product, the research offers the Narrative Seedbed, an artistic-pedagogical collection comprising both games and a virtual repository of the produced animations, made available under a Creative Commons license for replication in other school contexts. It is concluded that artisanal bioanimation can constitute itself as a viable and meaningful pedagogical device for art education in the Amazon, articulating decoloniality, audiovisual creation, and territorial belonging.
