Abstract

The objective of the Mandatory Supervised Internship was to carry it out by monitoring activities developed at the UFAM Dairy Quality Laboratory (LABLAC) ICSEZ. The Laboratory has milk analysis equipment considered extremely important to have adequate quality control. The internship took place under the supervision of Zootechnician and laboratory technician Virna Ribeiro Hayden, with 300 hours of workload, valid from 01/02/2024 to 03/22/2024. During the internship, practical classes and research were carried out, milk samples were collected for physical-chemical analysis, somatic cell counting (SCC), milk urea nitrogen (NUL) assessment, in addition to training for producers. Rural areas, students and technicians. It was of great relevance to learn laboratory analysis techniques in practice, their importance for scientific research, the external community and the application of results based on the legislation that governs the dairy sector. Through interaction between rural producer and intern, it was possible to exchange knowledge and experiences, as well as improve communication, problem solving and teamwork. This vast experience made it possible to put into practice the knowledge acquired in the classroom, adding positively to the professional and personal life of the graduate and future Zootechnician.
