O Design Sustentável ampliando horizontes de comunidades ribeirinhas por meio do reaproveitamento de resíduos de madeira

Abstract

The consumption of natural resources and the degradation of the environment is an issue widely discussed in the media and in society. With this, this research discusses themes in the areas of Culture and Society, Sustainable Management, Wood, Vernacular Design and Design Thinking, having as object of study the productive viability contributing to the sustainable development in the Terra Preta Community through the processing of wood. To achieve this objective, a bibliographic review is necessary on the main topics related to the object of study: Society and Reserve Units, Design Methodologies, Ecodesign and Vernacular Design; Sustainability, Wood and Surface Design. The expected result is that with the training and application of co-creation, there is the possibility of economic and social growth in the reserve region of the Terra Preta Community.
