As narrativas cosmológicas do povo Waikhana do Rio Negro e as aproximações possíveis com os Aymara do Altiplano Andino

Resumo

This dissertation is the product of an interdisciplinary study on the cosmology of the Waikhana indigenous people of the Tapajós community. It seeks to analyze the vision that the Waikhana indigenous people have of the cosmos, nature, themselves, and their way of being and existing in the world. The narratives are the soil upon which we ground our analysis in light of the knowledge of the Waikhana and their ancestral experiences. This is an interdisciplinary research that engages with Anthropology, Ethnology, and History, inspired by ethnography and orality. The methodology used in this research is based on the narratives generated by the respondents, particularly from the indigenous peoples of the Baré, Waikhana, and Aymara ethnicities. The qualitative approach, ethnographic technique, ethnography at home, and bibliographic research are other methods utilized in the methodology. The exchange of knowledge in Bolivia with the Aymara people allowed us to conduct a comparative study that greatly enriched this work. Among the results found, it was clear that the Waikhana emerged in Lake Leite, through the creator God of Thunder, just as the Aymara emerged in Lake Titicaca, with the creator being God Wiracocha. Both arose from the waters. The Aymara believe in Pachamama and the Waikhana in Mother Nature. This leads to the conclusion that there is a certain closeness between the Waikhana and the Aymara.
