Relatório de Estágio Supervisionado Obrigatório do curso de Bacharelado em Administração Realizado na Biblioteca Institucional Neuma Jean Marques

Resumo

The supervised internship is regulated by Law No. 11.788/2008, which defines it as an educational act that integrates theory and practice. It represents an essential stage in the training of administrators by enabling the experience of real management processes in institutional environments. This report aims to describe and analyze the experiences acquired throughout the 300 hours of supervised internship carried out at the Neuma Jean Marques Library, linked to the Institute of Nature and Culture (INC/UFAM), in Benjamin Constant–AM, highlighting its contributions to academic and professional development. The internship was conducted in person, during the afternoon shift, between August 12 and November 6, 2025, under the supervision of librarian Francisca Silva Pinto and the guidance of Professor Dr. Leonor Farias Abreu. The activities were divided into three 100-hour stages, encompassing public service, cataloging, book stamping and labeling, administrative routines, record control, spreadsheet development, and support for institutional events. Skills in communication, organization, and the use of administrative tools were improved, along with participation in events such as the INC Race 2025 and the VI Administration Week, consolidating the integration between theory and practice. The activities related to book write-off and record updating contributed to greater efficiency of the collection and the improvement of services offered to the academic community. It is concluded that the supervised internship was decisive for the development of technical and interpersonal competencies, providing a practical understanding of administrative principles applied to the management of university libraries. The experience reinforced the importance of the administrator’s role as an agent of innovation, social responsibility, and efficiency in public management.
