Práticas corporais de aventura: interação com o ensino das ciências ambientais

Resumo

This study investigates the integration of Adventure Body Practices (PCAs) into school Physical Education, aligned with the teaching of Environmental Sciences, in accordance with the guidelines of the Brazilian National Common Curricular Base (BNCC). The objective was to outline educational strategies to promote environmental awareness through these practices, connecting body, nature, and sustainability. A qualitative approach was adopted, grounded in the perspective of complex thinking, using case study and field study methods. The activities included hands-on experiences such as ecological trails, rappelling, and slacklining, integrated with content on ecology, afforestation, and climate change. The research employed questionnaires, observations, and discussion circles with students and educators from IFAM – Coari Campus. The results show that PCAs foster emotional and cognitive bonds with the environment, develop physical and social skills, and stimulate reflections on environmental preservation. The dialogue with thinkers such as Morin, Freire, Kambeba, Krenak, and Milton Santos highlights the relevance of interdisciplinarity and local knowledge in socio-environmental education. When well- planned, PCAs are effective tools for promoting citizenship and environmental responsibility, bridging theory and practice. This study resulted in a technical and technological product that can guide teachers and education professionals in adapting and applying these practices according to their specific contexts
