Avaliação da aprendizagem: uma proposta emergente para o ensino-aprendizagem de Biologia

Abstract

This scientific research has as general objective to propose an evaluation methodology that can contribute to the teaching - learning process of Biology, part of the following scientific problem: what proposal of Assessment of Learning can be outlined to contribute to the teaching - learning process of Biology? As guiding questions, what are the evaluation methodologies already existent in the literature for the teaching of biology? What are the perceptions of teachers and students about the use of Learning Assessment to improve the teaching-learning process of Biology? And by the end, what elements would be relevant in the elaboration of a proposal of Evaluation of the Learning? We have three specific objectives: first, to describe the evaluation methodologies existing in the literature; to analyze the perceptions of teachers and students about the use of the Assessment of Learning in the teaching of Biology and by third, to construct a proposal of Assessment of Learning through elements relevant to the teaching - learning process of Biology. The following steps were carried out: exploratory research (using books, school visits, articles, dissertations and thesis), initial survey (interviews with teachers and questionnaire with students, to analyze data, content analysis and scale Likert), outline of the proposal (identification of relevant elements of the analysis, choice of elements and proposal construction), perceptions about the proposal (presentation of proposal for teachers and students, interviews with teachers and questionnaires with students, from the data will be done content analysis). This research is justified as an innovation for the use of Learning Assessment, in this way the research project has as an expectation to contribute to the teaching-learning of Biology. As a result, all the objectives were reached, we analyzed the answers of the questionnaires of the participating students that showed a change of use of the presented theme, some evaluation instruments were very effective, in this way the EAP was effective for the improvement of the teaching learning process of Biology, since it was tested in the classroom and evaluated by the participants of the process, in the case the students and the teacher.
