A prática artística: criar e ressignificar por meio da reutilização do lixo no espaço escolar

Abstract

This research refers to the teaching-learning and creation process in Arts, with the aim of reusing solid waste as an artistic practice in the school environment, highlighting the students' artistic skills, and developing socio-environmental responsibility in relation to nature, making the students important mediating agents within their own school and society, as they began to act consciously during the research carried out from the creation process. This research was proposed to students in the 5th year of Cycle II of the initial years of Elementary School I, at the Machado de Assis Full-Time State School, located at Rua Amâncio de Miranda, No. 90, Educandos neighborhood, Manaus/AM. The research is characterized based on the scientific method, identified as a mixed approach, (qualitative and quantitative research), bibliographical research of articles, dissertations, magazines and websites, field research that consisted of observations and data analysis, through on-site visits and, using participant observation techniques, semi-structured interviews and the exhibition of the students' artistic production.
