s desafios na aprendizagem dos conteúdos de geografia física: uma análise reflexiva no ensino fundamental

Abstract

This work presents a reflective analysis of the teaching of Geography, considering the dynamics and interaction of natural elements and phenomena. Therefore, the aim is to construct this analysis based on the investigation of pedagogical knowledge and practices that instruct teachers to teach Physical Geography content. The following specific objectives are added to this proposal: a) To substantiate the problem in teaching Physical Geography content in Elementary School II; b) To analyze the content present in the textbook; c) To verify whether the teaching of Physical Geography meets the perspectives suggested by the National Curricular Parameters (PCNs). The methodological procedures will be carried out through theoretical review, bibliographical and documentary research, to substantiate the guiding premises of the problem under analysis. The observations made during the Supervised Internship II contributed to the identification of a series of difficulties related to the learning of Physical Geography content. Such difficulties were manifested through the simple use of technical terms or slightly more in-depth content, facts that made the difficulties demonstrated by the students noticeable. Regarding the level of learning regarding the contents of Physical Geography, the aim is to identify whether there is a significant search for strategies that can provide greater student interest. Another aspect to be researched is whether there are currently methodological proposals being applied in classrooms to expand the mediation of the contents of Physical Geography, as suggested by the PCN.
