Abstract

This dissertation deals with the management of the public policy of the Amazonas Educational Performance Assessment System (SADEAM), focusing on to Analyze the management of the public policy of the Amazonas Educational Performance Assessment System (SADEAM) with regard to implementation in the Amazon context. The research is based on the epistemic political sociology of Pierre Bourdieu (1930-2002), which focuses on the construction of social relations of a given field/subfield through its structures. As a method, we focus on Bourdieu's symbolic materialism (2014). The research methodology is qualitative and was developed through a review of specialized literature, as well as a survey and documentary analysis of Official Gazettes of the state of Amazonas and documents of the respective agents mentioned above to consolidate a research capable of meeting the specific objectives outlined, namely: To understand the specialized debate surrounding the emergence of large-scale international, national and local assessments with a focus on Amazonas; To map the legal and documentary foundations of the agents involved in the management of SADEAM's public policy; To understand the management of SADEAM's public policy and its consequences for Amazonian education. We conclude, based on the research carried out, that the multiple agents have established a power relationship within the subfield of large-scale assessments, through their mechanisms of domination, configured as symbolic violence, to materialize a management of the public policy of educational assessment in Amazonas based on the bias of managerialism
