Boa gestão de manutenção e clima organizacional: correlações empíricas em uma empresa de varejo do norte do Brasil

Abstract

It is possible to say that organizations that invest in a healthy work environment enable an improvement in the well-being of their employees, in addition to enhancing operational efficiency and the quality of products and services, which can directly influence employee motivation and performance. To this end, it is extremely important to recognize the organizational climate as a strategic indicator, highlighting how adequate equipment maintenance can improve employee perception. This study is a descriptive research, with a quantitative approach, through the application of previously structured questionnaires. For data collection, the maintenance sector of a retail and distribution company located in the North region of Brazil was considered and its objective was to empirically identify the correlations between the organizational climate and the impact on employees, suggesting that these maintenance practices are positive for continuous improvement and competitiveness in the market. The result sought to offer insights for the formulation of policies that can generate more consistent and beneficial results for the team and the company as a whole.
