Desenvolvimento de um protótipo de aplicativo móvel para apoio ao enfermeiro na consulta de enfermagem à pessoa idosa indígena com hipertensão arterial no contexto Amazônico

Resumo

Introduction: In their traditional communities, the indigenous population has been experiencing the phenomenon of the inversion of the population pyramid. As a result of the ageing process, attention has been drawn to health conditions and the emergence of diseases among indigenous elderly people, especially the prevalence of cardiovascular diseases. Age can be considered a risk factor for the increase in hypertension among indigenous peoples, as well as significantly increasing the likelihood of various cardiovascular diseases. In indigenous health, nurses provide care based on a theoretical-practical relationship, through the application of techniques, skills and the use of technologies such as mobile applications. These devices can be used as allies to facilitate the provision of care by nurses to indigenous elderly people. In view of the above, with the aim of improving nursing care and facilitating access to public health services for these individuals, this study believes that mobile devices can benefit both the professional and the person being cared for. Aim: To develop a prototype mobile application for nursing consultations with indigenous elderly people with high blood pressure in the Amazon context. Method: This is a methodological study, in the form of technological production based on the fundamental items for creating software, guided by the prototyping paradigm proposed by Pressmam, which aims to help the researcher better understand the details of what has been developed. Leininger's theory of Diversity and Universality of Cultural Care was used as the theoretical basis for the constitution of content. The study thus followed two stages: 1) Scoping review and interview with the target audience and 2) Methodological development of the mobile application prototype. The scenario of the qualitative study stage was developed in three Polos Bases in the Médio Solimões Amazonense region, with the population and sample being the nurses who work in the chosen poles. Results: According to the stages mentioned, the results present three manuscripts, these being: a scoping review protocol, a scoping review and a qualitative study (first stage) and in the second stage: a methodological study referring to the development of the prototype. The final version of the prototype called AMASSUNU│HAS was grouped and distributed according to specific topics for each care approach, organized into a total of 57 screens, so the main menu consisted of nine icons. With regard to the aesthetics of the technology's design, it was decided to use tones associated with the slogan and indigenous graphics. Conclusion: The production of information and communication technologies in the care of indigenous elderly people with systemic arterial hypertension is scarce, despite technological advances in care practice. The development of a prototype mobile application for nursing consultations with indigenous elderly people with hypertension in the Amazon context is proving to be a favorable tool for nursing consultations.
