Metapoesia e outras metas: análise do discurso metafórico em Palavra na berlinda, de Astrid Cabral

Abstract

This research discourse about the metalanguage in poetic texts from the book Palavra na berlinda by amazonian writer Astrid Cabral. To reach this aim/target, the work was guided by following research problems: how the writer uses metapoetry to describe the writer craft in poems from Palavra na berlinda? How the metalanguage express itself in the book? Which the senses can be deduced from analysis of metaphors that constitute the poems? Which interdiscourses can be established? This questions were answered from three actions, being it the achievement of literary analysis discourse of the opus, that is, analysis of the selected poems; the elucidation of metapoetry directed to the poetic craft and to the own poetry; and the note of the senses metaphorical discourse’s from metaphors present in the paratextual and textual elements of the book. To explain metalanguage and metapoetry, languages whose study’s objects are theyself and all that relate with them, i searched support in Jakobson (2003), Chalhub (2005) and Guedelha (2020). In regard to metaphors, terms used to refer anothers, it were analyzed based on, mainly, Lakoff and Johnson (2002) and Aristóteles (2012, 2019), having yet with contributions by Ricouer (2015) and Candido (2006), in addition to essential others to the realize this study, including several interviews realized, reunited and published by Astrid Cabral (2015). With this, the analysis of paratextual elements with Genette (2009) and of textual elements, the poems, with the writers already cited show that the writer Astrid Cabral makes use of metaphors in your opuses from start until the end, to begin at title, according to see in Palavra na berlinda and in to much others, that what makes her, therefore, a metaphorist. The book study object of this research, through the metalanguage, the metapoetry and the several metaphors, approach the writer craft, especially the poet, to comment about pleasures and displeasures of the craft, including particularities that only this profissional have. In addition, the poems approach the main work’s instrument from writers/poets: the word, fundamental for them and essential to the human communication, which, inclusively, composes the poems, texts in which the poetry materializes, both also subjects component of various poetic texts from the book. After so much pages dedicated for writer craft, for poetry, for poem and for word, Astrid Cabral, in sensitive and keenly way, ends Palavra na berlinda with a topic dedicated for the inside out word, topic that place the silence in the spotlight, understood in this dissertation not only sounds absence, but also the place where it departs, founder of the communication. On the other side, it is too proposed in the poems how the worrying decrease of the dialog and, consequently, of the interpersonal communication.
