Gestão da produção e uso da copaíba no Amazonas

Abstract

The purpose of this work was to present an analytical approach to the spatial circuit of production and circles of cooperation from this point to identify the structuring of processes linked to the production, distribution, circulation and consumption of Amazonian natural products produced from Manaus, specifically Copaíba . In this way, this research had the main objective of identifying the interactions between family farming and biotechnological institutions in the generation of local productive arrangements for copaíba. And in this sense, it was possible to see the dynamic process and identify the main territorial agents involved in this spatial set, considering the limitations, pandemic, among others. For our analysis, the theoretical-methodological procedure of use of the territory was used, as it acts directly on the concept of productive spatial circuit, this basis addresses and identifies the various agents and subjects involved in the process led by copaíba, as a spatial activity, With this, we built a sectorized approach between the different topics of production activity up to the final consumer. With this, we identified that the non-timber forest products sector of which copaíba is part and has great relevance and development potential in the state of Amazonas, specifically because copaíba constitutes an important auxiliary economy for family farming and is linked to the preservation of forests. Many of the municipalities in Amazonas still bear the marks of the process of socio-territorial formation of the use of nature to which they were basic instruments, contributing to the production of a space that has the roughness of such legacies.
