Introduction: Hospitalization presents multifaceted challenges for patients involved in the health-disease process. Therefore, it is essential to adopt a holistic care model that encompasses not only physical aspects but also the spiritual, quality of life, and well being dimensions in order to address their needs in a comprehensive manner. Objective: To investigate whether there is an association between religiosity, quality of life, and subjective happiness in patients hospitalized in a private hospital in Manaus AM from June to September 2024. Methodology: This study was exploratory, prospective, and descriptive, with a quantitative approach, conducted in the clinical wards of a private reference hospital in the northern region of Brazil. Patients answered an online questionnaire to collect sociodemographic data, assess quality of life (QoL), religiosity, and subjective happiness. The statistical approach was exploratory, descriptive, and associative. Associations were verified through correlation coefficients and non-parametric tests, with variable analysis performed using IBM SPSS Statistics version 22. Results: In the context of QoL, the results showed that the RO domain had a significant positive correlation with the Environment domain (17.5%; p=0.045) and with overall QoL (17.6%; p=0.043). Regarding the RNO domain, it showed a significant positive correlation with the social relationships dimension (23.8%; p=0.006) and the environment dimension (21.1%; p=0.015), as well as with overall QoL (23.8%; p=0.006). For the RI domain, a significant positive correlation was observed with all QoL domains (p<0.05). Regarding FS, it showed a significant positive correlation with the RNO (22.0%; p=0.011) and RI (28.3%; p<0.0001) domains, meaning that both domains are associated with FS, and the higher the religiosity index in both domains, the greater the magnitude of FS. It is worth noting that no sociodemographic or clinical variable was associated with the patients' happiness levels. Conclusion: The study revealed a significant association between religiosity, quality of life, and subjective happiness in hospitalized patients, supporting the importance of a holistic care approach in the hospital context. The interaction between these aspects plays a crucial role in coping with the health-disease process, directly impacting the emotional and psychological well-being of patients.
