Manual de orientações para o ensino de Astronomia no 2º ano do Ensino Médio

Abstract

The manual of guidelines for teaching astronomy in the 2nd year of high school is an instructional material whose purpose is to serve as teaching material for elementary school teachers, as well as to serve as a manual for amateur astronomy use, so that any reader can easily read and understand the concepts and activities contained therein. Its proposal is also to offer a low-cost material that is accessible to all people, regardless of socioeconomic class. In the process of preparing the manual, the following steps were taken: 1) identification and listing of the fundamental concepts of astronomy that are relevant to the basic education curriculum. 2) Preparation of the educational product. 3) Training in Astronomy for elementary school science and high school physics teachers through the manual of guidelines. 4) Application of the manual of guidelines in a state school, highlighting the connections between astronomy and the daily life of this school community, with activities such as the construction of sundials. It is expected that the manual can be used as a pedagogical material in the school context due to its interdisciplinary and critical nature, being aligned with the new proposals of the BNCC and the New High School in relation to the teaching of natural sciences.F
