Análises do estado da técnica e da arte das tecnologias blockchain e NFT aplicadas aos registros eletrônicos de saúde

Resumo

Electronic Health Records (EHRs) have recently garnered increasing interest. Through scientific studies, legislation, and profitability, a shift in global culture has been introduced, making medical information a valuable source of data. However, it has been observed that EHRs remain in the possession of healthcare corporations, and individuals are not the "owners" of their own information. This study aims to provide a conceptual model direction towards the decentralization of EHRs. As methodology, a prospective study was conducted on the state-of-the-art emerging technologies of Blockchain and NFT (Non-Fungible Token), as the literature on the subject suggests they can provide secure, confidential, and facilitated access. This process was followed by a systematic work of collection, processing, analysis, and presentation of results extracted from scientific works collected in the SCOPUS database, which aim to refine the theme. The purpose was to construct a model for EHRs, containing the most commonly used elements in scientific studies on the subject. The model was submitted for validation by professionals in the field in the city of Manaus, who suggested improvements for its application in the regional context. Consequently, it was found that there is a fertile ground for the development of academic research that seeks to use both technologies in EHRs, especially considering that the General Data Protection Law (LGPD), which mandates that citizens should have sovereignty over their personal information, is already in full force and violations of health data security can result in hefty fines. Keywords: EHR; Blockchain; NFT.
