Gestão do Design no diagnóstico organizacional e guia de boas práticas para qualificação de processos na Eco-Cooperativa

Abstract

Waste picker cooperatives play a relevant role in waste management and the promotion of sustainability, while facing challenges related to management, internal organization, and planning. In this context, this research aims to develop a Good Practice Guide to support the management processes of the Eco-Cooperativa, based on Design Management principles. Methodologically, the study adopts a qualitative approach, structured in stages of theoretical review, organizational diagnosis, and guide development. The organizational diagnosis was built from questionnaires applied to both management and cooperative members. The collected data were examined through content analysis, allowing the identification of critical aspects related to organizational structure, communication, participation, and innovation. As a result, a Good Practice Guide was developed, organized into thematic axes and comprising guidelines, suggestions, and tools applicable to the cooperative’s daily activities. The material was evaluated by experts, whose feedback contributed to adjustments and improvements. The findings indicate that the application of Design approaches in cooperative contexts can contribute to the improvement of management and organizational processes, especially when oriented toward accessible, participatory solutions aligned with the local context.
