Como eu poderia me encontrar preso nessas conchas quebradas: conflitos familiares e atos de afirmação da subjetividade trans – os casos dos acolhidos e beneficiários da Casa Miga, de Manaus/Am (2020 a 2023).

Abstract

The research deals with family conflicts, based on the reality of transgender people who have been expelled from their homes and welcomed/beneficiaries of Casa Miga. The general objective is to identify the points of friction that characterize the family conflicts experienced by transgender people, and their ethical and social repercussions in the city of anaus/Amazonas in the period from 2020 to 2023. The research is exploratory in nature and is conducted in the light of Foucault, from a post-structuralist, interdisciplinary perspective, through dialog between the areas of Social Service, Philosophy and Anthropology. The literature review led to a discussion of the categories of gender, power and family. Due to the scarcity of data, based on a survey of laws, resolutions, draft laws, dossiers and linked reports, we systematized a set of documents to draw up a current picture of the perspectives adopted by institutions on the subject. We tried to complete this sketch through field observations, the collection and analysis of data obtained during an ethnographic approach (Mattos, 2011), with semi-structured interviews, participant observation, field diaries and microanalysis. In addition to the subjects approached at Casa Miga, we engaged other participants in social movements working to defend LGBTI, indigenous, black and women's rights, among others. It is hoped that the results achieved will contribute to strengthening public policies, programs, plans and projects with a view to transgenderism in the family, as well as to the social struggle for recognition of the need to create public policies and other actions aimed at welcoming, promoting and defending the rights of Trans people.
