Resumo
Rhizobacteria have symbiotic, nitrogen-fixing capacity, efficiency in the production of biopolymers, biosurfactants and have capabilities in bioremediation of contaminated environments. This work evaluated the morphology of rhizobacteria colonies isolated from legume nodules, that showed the ability to degrade vegetable oils and fats, as well as their molecular identification. For colony morphology tests, as well as GRAM staining, 30 rhizobacteria isolates deposited in the National Amazon Research Institute Collection were used. The results showed that 10 colonies had a circular shape and 20 had an irregular shape; 18 exhibited a regular border and 12 exhibited an irregular border; regarding the elevation of the colony, 23 were flat and seven were elevated; ten isolates showed transparency and 20 did not; 27 colonies are white and three are yellow; As for appearance, 10 colonies are heterogeneous and 20 homogeneous. Regarding mucus, nine showed little quantity, 13 moderate and eight abundant; As for the appearance of the mucus, 20 are homogeneous and 10 are heterogeneous. The morphological type of the bacteria observed were rod, making it possible to verify arrangements of: diplobacilli and streptobacilli. From the sequencing of the 16s rRNA gene region, 11 individuals of the genus Paenibacillus, 9 individuals of the genus Bradyhizobium, 5 individuals of the genus Bacillus, 4 individuals of the genus Rhizobium and one individual of the genus Enterobacter were identified. According to Gram staining, 10 isolates are Gram-positive and 20 rhizobacteria are Gram-negative. The morphology of the 30 rhizobacteria showed differences between them. These differences can be used to facilitate more detailed studies with these rhizobacteria.
