Divinas BoNekas: travessia autoetnográfica de travestilidades a partir da moda na Ballroom manauara

Resumo

Engaging in dialogue about travestlidades through fashion design and other artistic and performative processes, from a perspective where these initiatives evoke the spheres of politics, discourse, memory, and the fight against transphobia, is part of the intention of this autoethnography. By arriving at a material form, which constitutes the exhibition-manifesto, the aim is to challenge the meanings of text and artifacts, in order to forge an autoethnographic, yet multi-embodied, writing-experience, since other voices and travestilidades will be part of the dialogues sought here. Another crucial point is the poetics of solid waste, the raw material for the experiments, one of which is the possibility for debate on intersectionality and necropolitics. The aim is to use playful and anti-colonial strategies, especially inspired by experiences in the Manaus Ballroom scene, to explore the meanings of travestilidades in our territory, in order to articulate lost and confused meanings of fractal and fragmented ancestries based on the travesty experience and expertise in living.
