Uma abordagem para adoção de técnicas de aprendizagem colaborativa em Ambientes Virtuais de Aprendizagem com base na experiência do usuário

Resumo

Learning Management Systems (LMSs) are software artifacts that support education in various contexts and modalities, managing courses, sharing files, and supporting collaborative teaching and learning activities. LMSs mediate interactions between teachers and students, where everyone must interact well with each other, achieving a good experience during activities. In this context, the importance of conducting User Experience (UX) evaluations in these systems is highlighted to deliver quality software to teachers and students, providing better experience and engagement during collaborative activities. In this sense, the following research question was established: How to support the adoption of Collaborative Learning techniques mediated by LMSs? Thus, the objective of this doctoral research is to provide support for professors and lectures during the adoption of Collaborative Learning techniques mediated by LMS. To this end, this work used the Design Science Research (DSR) methodology to develop an approach that assists in improving UX during collaborative activities mediated by LMSs. This approach is based on the perspectives of users involved in collaborative learning dynamics supported by LMSs, verifying how aspects related to the need for collaboration influence the UX of these systems. The contributions of this research include: (i) empirical evidence of how collaboration-related aspects influence UX in LMSs; (ii) a replicable methodology combining quantitative and qualitative UX evaluations; (iii) practical recommendations to improve Moodle's support for collaborative learning; (iv) a set of recommendations to support teachers when configuring Collaborative Learning techniques in Moodle; and (v) the development of the "ColaborAVA" tool, which supports teachers during this process.
