Estágio Supervisionado III - Regência na Escola Estadual Imaculada Conceição no Município de Benjamin Constant-AM

Abstract

This paper presents the activities carried out during the Supervised Teaching Placement III – Classroom Teaching, which took place at the Imaculada Conceição State School. This teaching placement was carried out at the school, which provides upper secondary education; the institution is located at 60 Monsenhor Thomaz Street, Centro, in the municipality of Benjamin Constant, Amazonas. The placement took place across three classes: Year 1 (106), Year 2 (205) and Year 3 (306). This experience proved crucial for enhancing the learning of the trainee teacher. During the teaching placement, teaching materials were produced, lessons were delivered to the three classes and pupils’ learning was assessed; as part of these activities, lesson plans were drawn up, which were essential for the successful completion of the placement. The teaching placement on the Agricultural and Environmental Sciences course is a compulsory component of the curriculum that contributes to the development of teacher training; furthermore, this practical experience provided an opportunity to put into practice the theoretical knowledge acquired and learnt throughout their academic career.
