Diagrama de identificação de desperdícios: uma proposta de melhoria para as atividades de campo do programa LIRAa (Levantamento Rápido de Índices para Aedes aegypti) aplicado na zona norte de Manaus

Abstract

Motivated by the increase in dengue cases in Manaus, this research sought to formulate strategies to optimize the Rapid Survey of Indices for Aedes Aegypti (LIRAa). In the methodological field, documentary research was adopted to deepen the premises of the program, direct observation to construct the flow of activities, and semi-structured interviews with Disa-Norte Agents to identify opportunities for improvement. With the results generated, it was possible to understand that, although other capitals apply the program four times a year, they do not face the same challenges as the city of Manaus, which currently does it Only twice. The results showed that there is no standardization for carrying out the program at a national level, with the capitals carrying out LIRAa at different intervals. Applying the Waste Identification Diagram, the WID Diagram of the Current and Future State was obtained as a product with the identification of improvements that, if implemented, would provide opportunities for the optimization of the program. Furthermore, through interviews with Health Agents from the North Zone of the capital, it was possible to understand the difficulties in meeting the program's premises given the use of outdated maps and doubts during the visits. Finally, this work is recorded for reference purposes, including the application of the lean methodology outside the industrial environment, proposals for optimizing public resources, and the presentation of the health agent as a key figure in meeting the basic needs of the population.
