Testes e índices que preveem falha na extubação em crianças no pós-operatório de cirurgia cardíaca

Resumo

Introduction: The success of early extubation reduces the adverse effects of invasive mechanical ventilation (IMV). The implementation of a ventilation weaning protocol meets the best efficiency and safety requirements for the extubation procedure, favoring progress and causing complications arising from the use of IMV. Method: This is a scoping review, which includes 5 steps: identification of the research question; identification of relevant studies; selection of studies; data mapping; demonstration of results. The research was conducted in accordance with the guidelines of the Joanna Briggs Institute for Observational Studies in Epidemiology reviewer manual. The search strategy was identified by a systematic search carried out during the month of January to April 2024. 4 databases were used: PubMed, Cochrane, Embase and Lilacs. The project was registered in the Open Science Framework- OSF registration database. The study identification process was carried out by two independent reviewers and was divided into phases: identification, screening and inclusion. The analysis of methodological quality and risk to life were carried out using the Joanna Briggs Institute- JBI critical assessment tool. The screening was independent of all articles, initially only based on the title and abstract and, later, based on the full text using the Rayyan system for collection. Results: Of the total of 3,045 studies developed, only six were included for the analysis. Conclusion: The results highlighted the relevance of the proposed topic, despite the need for further studies on the topic addressed. Protocol registration: 10.17605/OSF.IO/A6URQ.
